Today we completed our annual pump testing with the assistance of Northwest Fire Services. We were joined by our partners from Bridgeport Fire and EMS, who also completed this necessary testing on their engine. This annual testing helps ensure your fire equipment is ready to serve the needs of our community members and visitors. I remember when we went to Enhanced 911 in 1995. A lot of the folks in the country did not want their addresses exposed. It took some convincing to get them to realize that they many one day need the services of the FD or EMS.
